Coastguard rescue teams from Greenock, Clydebank and Helensburgh attended a special service at Glasgow Cathedral on Sunday.

The annual Seafarers' Service, held on 18 October to mark Trafalgar Day, brought together representatives from across the maritime community.

Trafalgar Day commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805, when the British fleet under Admiral Lord Nelson defeated the combined French and Spanish navies.

Services and events are held each year to recognise Britain's maritime history and those who have served at sea.
